Roero Natural History Museum, Vezza dAlba
The museum was founded at the beginning of the 1980s by a group of teachers from the Vezza dAlba primary school who wanted to help children learn about the environment by observing their surroundings. Thus, item after item, the museum has gradually built up a rich collection of fossils and small animals.

Corkscrew Museum, Barolo
Uncorking a bottle is something we do automatically, every day. But when, how and where was the corkscrew invented? The museum was born from the passion of a man called Paolo Annoni for collecting antique corkscrews. It now includes 500 items from the 18th century up to the present day.
Opening times: every day, including bank holidays, 10 am-1 pm, 2 pm-6 pm, closed on Thursday. Closed each year in January and February, open every day in October. Other times by arrangement.

Places associated with Cesare Pavese, Santo Stefano Belbo
For visitors to this region, Santo Stefano Belbo, the birthplace of Cesare Pavese, is a must. The novelist spent the early years of his childhood here, and often returned afterwards. The hamlets and surrounding hills form the natural backdrop for some of his main works.
The Fondazione Cesare Pavese (Cesare Pavese Foundation) houses Paveses books and mementos that have been restored, documents and the civic library.

Ecomuseum of the Rocche, Montà
The museum was set up to preserve the heritage of the rural communities and give visitors an insight into their past: the landscapes, environment, architecture, but also the people, their traditions and everyday objects are the museum pieces. The Ecomuseum of the Rocche of Roero brings together, in a single open-air museum, the eight villages that developed along the top of the rock fault after the year one thousand.
The Ecomuseum is based in Montà, which is the starting point for exploring the Rocche.

Pastel paintings in Lequio Berria
A unique collection of delicate pastel works on show in the town hall. Featuring works by Russian and Italian artists, it was organised in conjunction with the exhibition of pastels by Italian artists at the Yaroslavl Art Museum in Russia: a joint venture fired by a passion for art.

Toy Museum, Bra
History and ethnographic museum with more than 1,000 exhibits including toys, games and childhood objects made from the late 18th century up to the 1960s.
The collection, which started almost as a game, has been enriched over the years by antique dealer Michele Chiesa. It features industrially manufactured and hand-crafted objects, as well as homemade and/or folkloristic items.

The "Federico Eusebio" Civic Museum of Archaeology and Natural Science, Alba
Founded in 1897 by Federico Eusebio, the museum was originally intended to exclusively house a collection of historical-archaeological objects. The natural history section was added later and offers a broad insight into the local environment from a naturalistic and historical perspective.

Museum of Art and Folk Traditions the culture of plaster, Magliano Alfieri
The museum documents a very special technique that was commonly used to decorate the ceilings of the humble rural homes of Roero, Asti and Ovada. These load-bearing structures were made of plaster panels which were poured in place in frames formed by large and small wooden beams, over a wooden matrix that printed a decorative motif on the plaster panel.
